this isn't specifically related to THIS but it's similar- apparently in a speech he made in Ohio yesterday, Orange McGee mentioned a plan he had about stopping terrorism, by keeping those who support bigotry and hatred and are against "the Constitution" out of the country. by his logic, shouldn't that mean he should deport himself as well??? idiot.

Back when I had a lot more time to volunteer, I worked the polls for local Democratic party. There were various positions they needed to fill at each precinct, and one of them was poll watcher. The main job of the Democratic poll watcher was to make sure that the Republican poll watcher didn't pull any shit. I was thinking of taking time off and volunteering again this year. If you live in the US, you might consider doing it, too, so that the watchers are watched.
