Honestly, they just don't give a fuck, as long as they get clicks. If you're going to point out someone's from a notoriously homophobic country and then give a description of them, you flat out don't care if that person gets hurt or dies. Sincerely revolting.

the fact that daily beast left the article up (without the identifying info) with a bullshit note from an editor HOURS after ppl starting pointing out how fucked up this entire thing was shows that they were only in it for cheap clicks and dgaf about the harm they were doing to the athletes described

I cannot even begin to convey what a vile betrayal this was.

Imagine having made it to one of the greatest events for an athlete, and feeling safe enough to maybe share that joy with someone. And being betrayed and used by that ambulatory lump of sewage

He took what should have been one of the best times of these athletes lives, and turned it into fear. Seriously, there's no forgiving that guy.
