This has taken way too long, and I am very happy to see it finally happening, but a number of indigenous groups have mentioned that there are a number of shortcomings of this inquiry, and those shortcomings seem to be there in purpose, which is disheartening.

It's such a tragic issue. I'm just hoping the inquiry will lead to positive changes (=I'm hoping, despite issues with the inquiry as it has been announced).
