This makes me happy. Good on everyone for doing some actual good.

I kind of want to shove this in the faces of all the jaded internet people who were rolling their eyes and acting like it was a stupid waste of time.

I don't have ALS, I have MS. But as someone who suffers from a much easier neurological disorder, one of the things I've said to myself is, "thank god it's not ALS." A lot of really great strides have been made to help people manage MS, but ALS is so rare that it really needed this publicity bump.
