And I thought I couldn't hate this man more than I already did. Also how is the moral of Mulan that women in the military are a bad idea?? She saves China! DID HE EVEN WATCH THE MOVIE??
uhm, I think that Pence meant that Mulan gives women the wrong idea that being in the army is a good thing, Pence is against women in the military. But then he's anti-woman in general
This was funnier and more ridiculous before I read the article because I thought for those moments he was coming for Mulan out of the blue in twenty-frikkin'-sixteen, but I'm still smh.
Dude, seriously? How could you even-- did you not read-- what.
No wonder Trump chose him, he's almost as much of a walking parody as Trump is.
To answer OP's question, it's definitely one of my favorites. I rewatched it not that long ago on Netflix. That moment when they're all singing and joking and then come across the destroyed village with dead silence is always a gut check.
One of my faves, yeah. I wish she had more merch. Tiana needs more love too. You know who DOESN'T need more love? Elsa and Anna. I'm really over them, and to be perfectly frank, Frozen was a step BACKWARD from Renaissance princess movies. Ariel onward had main goals that DIDN'T in fact revolve around finding true love (Ariel wanted to join human society, Belle wanted to escape her podunk town, Jasmine wanted to escape being forced to marry...hell, even Cinderella just wanted a night off from endless toiling), but Frozen thinks it's being so ~revolutionary with its subversion of Anna's dream of meeting Prince Charming.
Anyway, did he miss the part where Mulan never acted on her feelings until AFTER she saved China and had already been discharged from the army?
The lack of love Tiana and the Princess and the Frog got was CRIMINAL. That was such a good movie that I still love watching when I need my Disney fix.
"Almost There" and "Dig a little deeper" are some of my favorite songs ever <3
