I'm going to blame France's policy of isolating newcomers from MENA geographically, socially, and economically. Unfortunately, I think politicians on all sides are going to take this as proof that what France's MENA population really needs is even more ghettoization.

I hate that the media is showing photos and videos of the attack and the direct aftermath over and over again. It's like some kid of twisted entertainment/shock value. I couldn't imagine being a loved one of a victim and watching a video and seeing them get hit by the truck or see them lying in the street, I just...it's horrific.
It reminds me of the firefighter carrying that baby out of the building that was bombed in Oklahoma City. Yes, it is an iconic photo, but that is the last picture those parents have of their child and it is a photo that has been spread around the world.
I hate that the extreme right is calling for war - how do you declare war against an ideology? It's playing right into Daesh's hands and they'll use the west's irrational hate against Muslims to populate their ranks and continue these horrific attacks.

How can someone see dozens of ppl lying on the ground in pools of blood and think "oh hey, I'm gonna walk along, film them all and put it on Twitter" is beyond me. I'm not saying I'd be helpful, I'm afraid I'd be petrified but I wouldn't be a totall asshole either.
