lmao for once not a negative article about Chinese tourists. This is insanely cute to me (even though if I was a resident there I'd be completely grumpy about it).

From what I've heard, the main reason seems t be it's on the way to another town that's a tourist destination, and the BBC is making it out to be a bigger mystery than it is.

But good for them getting tourists in- in a few years England is going to need all the tourist dollars it can get.

I saw the BBC report on the news, the reporter himself talked about the mystery like it was ball lightning or bigfoot, rather than a bunch of human beings turning up somewhere a bit unexpected. The sort of quasi-racist crap you can still get away with when it comes to the Chinese.
