For a country that calls itself a melting pot and has so much immigration, I'm surprised the population is still that white, even with the percentages shifting.

mte, I don't get how some white folks are scared that the minorities are "taking over" when white ppl still make up at least 60% of the country's population

Demographics are going to be a problem for Republicans in every presidential election moving forward if they don't drastically change their rhetoric and policies. They were a problem for the GOP in both 2008 and 2012 and with the passage of time the demographics are just going to continue to shift.
