Chelsea Manning 'rushed to hospital after trying to take own life'

Chelsea Manning, the military whistleblower serving a 35 year sentence, has been rushed to hospital after reportedly trying to take her own life.

Eta: I read that they're not allowing her to speak with her council, and the alleged suicide attempt was leaked and since it wasn't confirmed...it's just so gross that she has no privacy. I'm not blaming you op (I'd read it elsewhere first anyway), I'm just so grossed out that I even know this happened. What's been done to her is disgusting, and what's happening to her is disgusting. And, this might bother some people...but the possibility that they saved her life so that they could torture her some more? Ugh ugh ugh ugh.

Yeah, that's so fucked up. Here is the response from her legal team. Highlights:
“We’re shocked and outraged that an official at Leavenworth contacted the press with private confidential medical information about Chelsea Manning yet no one at the Army has given a shred of information to her legal team."

So horrible. Btw, not sure if she can receive mail in hospital, and the support site hasn't been updated yet, but here's some of the most current info I could find about sending letters/cards.
