The officers were wearing body cameras, but they fell off during the incident, State Representative Denise Marcelle told WAFB-TV. She said Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie Jr. told her about the cameras falling off, and said they do not show the shooting as a result.
Shit like this is why I'm skeptical that body cameras will even change the situation. They can put as many bandages as they want over the problem, but the real issue is that the police academies need to step up their training and really need to be more selective about who they let become police officers.

It's mind-boggling and utterly revolting how many murders our police force are stacking up while absolutely *nothing* is done to change it.
