I'm so glad i've had my book to distract me this week and next. I'm glad my bosses are back but I hope I get more work soon ;; i'm not gonna make it w/just one to two work days a week. If this keeps up i'm really going to need to find a new job and that would suck all around. :/
For a second I was trying to think what actor died who was in Through the Looking Glass, but then I remembered what you were referring to and a part of me died all over again.
This weekend's been pretty solid. Yesterday I went on an Epilepsy Walk (and raised $435!) and my cousin's son's first birthday party. Main problem was I got super burned out with dealing with people.
I just found out my office is moving to work remotely right after 4th of July weekend. I thought we wouldn't have to do that until late August, and I am Not Looking Forward to it. I have a harder time concentrating at home and my folks will be around all summer, which won't help. ): That plus my awesome manager leaving makes me want to get a new job, but I don't know what/where I want to go.
My dad started watching Brain Dead and I have yet to figure out how it's supposed to be funny.
I also have been reading way too many Pokemon alchemy theories
And OH MY GOSH THE EUROS THE EUROS. ICELAND TYING AND DEFYING EXPECTATONS. PORTUGAL CRASHING AND BURNING. THE IRISH. Germany's going to be a mess on Tuesday.
Ugh. I really want to like Brain Dead but i'm not feeling it. *also I totally thought it was a murder mystery political based show and I was sad to find out it was about weird zombies.
Yeah. It's like... "POLITICAL DYSFUNCTION POLITICAL DYSFUNCTION DID WE MENTION POLITICAL DYSFUNCTION!!!!" and when they use The Cars there's a massive difference in volume so it actually kind of hurts my ears.
Like if I wanna watch meta-commentary on making people play nice... I'll watch The World's End. Although the ending is really depressing so yeaah.
The Cars part was sorta the worst tbh. I get it but it was annoying. I like where theyre going but it feels like they could've worked on it more? Also I feel like it'd have been better as a special, 8 eps and thats it.
