She still has the title, and she can always say she's busy working in Washington.

It’s hard to gather much information about Brandon Davis at this point - other than the fact that he has been the national political director for SEIU. Markos Moulitsas writes that he’s known him for years and that he’s “smart, energetic, passionate, and competent as f*ck.” By choosing him, Clinton also continues to tap into young millennials of color to energize both her campaign and the Democratic Party in a way that builds for the future.

well, this sounds good. young blood, union guy, Kos likes him, probably exactly what we need.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has handed the day-to-day operations of the Democratic Party over to Clinton’s hand picked operator Brandon Davis. If this makes Bernie and his followers happy, I guess I'm glad. I mean, why not? But I'm a little surprised that no one has commented on the part I bolded above ( ... )

tbh I think people just want her gone

and idk, maybe they realize it's going to be someone picked by Clinton since next to the President she's now the de facto head of the party and this guy seems easy to tolerate, given his record

but I honestly think that a lot of people have just glomped onto the DWS is corrupt meme without really thinking about why they don't like her. not that there aren't good reasons. I personally think she hasn't done well managing the party when it comes to downticket races and would like the job to go to someone who doesn't already have a day job

Yeah. And I like your point about not having a day job. The GOP did a bang up job with their re districting nightmare in 2010, but this year seats that are usually unopposed should most definitely have someone Dem trying for them, just in case.
