To be fair, I was a registered republican in the state of Texas up until February when I re-registered in Virginia, but I don't think I've ever voted for a republican in the five years I've been registered. My dad did it without my knowledge when I registered at the DMV.

Are you sure? I got all sorts of stuff from the Republican party about two weeks after I registered thanking me for my support. I only remember this because it was so laughable that I would be a Republican and all my friends got a kick out of it.
