have they even used the draft since vietnam? maybe i'm mistaken? but i thought the draft hasn't been used in years which is why when men's rights activits bitch and moan about women not being drafted i get confused cause that hasn't happened in years?

This is pretty much an "We all agree ice cream is pretty neat" bill. There's no plausible scenario where a draft would at all be useful.

i was thinking maybe this will shut up men's rights activists on their stance on "wpmen need to be drafted too!" but then they'll probably bitch that women have no business fighting in war.

i thought the draft hadn't been used since vietnam though? which if that is true why not throw it out entirely? they should do that anyways regardless of how long it hasn't been in use.

Probably because MRAs have pissed and whined for years that it's not faaaaaiiiir and a lot of feminists jumped on board without question because I guess it's totally cool that if the government decides to draft we should all carry out their imperialist agenda as long as it's ~equal~. Sorry, I'm really bitter over this.

Fuck this noise. When women are paid equally, they can draft them. When they pass the ERfuckingA, they can draft them.

'It's fair'? FUCK that. It's men that have kept women out of the military and out of combat roles for centuries, don't whine about how 'fair' or unfair it is - you assholes did this to yourselves.

Seriously. All the comments I've seen saying "it's fair I guess" kinda blow my mind. Like in what world? The whole thing should be scrapped altogether, but it seems women suffer a lot more danger from FELLOW PERSONNEL than men do. Great.

Yeah don't worry about paid maternity leave or legislating equal pay, the first priority should be making women go to war. Ah equality.
