Agh, that's certainly a shame.

I have to wonder at the statistics of bites and attacks by dogs of varying breeds in Montreal, though. Everyone seems to focus on pitbulls and their cousins so much that it's hard to find data.

Also, fairly sure that's a Staffordshire in that photo, not a Pitbull, but, hey. Who cares about accuracy if it's a scary-looking dog?

My grandmother was mauled to death by one, and the rise in Chihuahua dog fights are prob to blame, bet they start putting them on Snoop Dogs' next album; nothing says "bad ass" like a Chihuahua * after Golden Retrievers & Pugs ofc

So.... was it actually? Because "dog attacks are always pit bulls" is the canine equivalent to "every gun is an assault rifle or Glock" in the news.

That's a good point -I'm not sure it was a pitbull and I'm really not sure the authorities were either.
