I have to wonder at the statistics of bites and attacks by dogs of varying breeds in Montreal, though. Everyone seems to focus on pitbulls and their cousins so much that it's hard to find data.
Also, fairly sure that's a Staffordshire in that photo, not a Pitbull, but, hey. Who cares about accuracy if it's a scary-looking dog?

So.... was it actually? Because "dog attacks are always pit bulls" is the canine equivalent to "every gun is an assault rifle or Glock" in the news.
