How did these guys even manage to find the wildlife refuge they took over and trashed? It sounds like they couldn't even find their own asses with both hands...

They need to be told the same thing I've had to tell my right-wing nutjob brother: the law is not whatever YOU say it is!

But hey - maybe they are saying stuff like this so once they go to trial they can plead diminished capacity.

It's alright! All he has to do is check every American flag in the building. If he finds even one with gold fringe, the jail is a secret admiralty jail and the authority of everyone inside is immediately nullified. Then, he just needs to scream "AM I BEING DETAINED AM I BEING DETAINED" over and over until they let him go. Easy peasy.
