Geez. I'm glad he 'fessed up, but what the hell made him think this was a good idea to do in the first place? Did he say anything about his motives in the statement? (Source doesn't seem to have the full thing.)

So bizarre.

Hmm, that link points out that the place where Brown says his church is is an apartment complex? Maybe the whole thing was fabricated in an aim to get donations pouring in?

Not the smartest way to go about bilking people out of their money, though. Just going full-on televangelist would've been more lucrative, if that was the aim.

Motive is just what I was just going to ask about. I would love to know why the fuck he ever wanted to do this in the first place and was hoping it would all come in the court proceedings. Now that won't happen, and I'll just have to wonder!

It's good of Whole Foods to back down, since he's confessed and apologized. I think some companies would not have been as forgiving.

Thanks for making it even harder for LGBT+ people to have our claims of abuse and harassment taken seriously, asshole.

The CEO of Whole Foods is a libertarian fuckwaffle (I tried typing fuckwad but it autocorrected to fuckwaffle???)

BUT they were pretty quick to oppose HB2, NC's shitty hate bill

the thing though is that the person who either served the cake or decorated it is gay i believe and i think he would have been on the hook for it so basically this man accused another gay man of the slur or something and that employee especially didn't deserve that. no employee would obviously, but especially not a gay employee ahh. so i'm glad that whole foods stood by the employee.

Dude you are screwy. And anti-gay. Don't mix a religion that is definitely against same gender sexual unions with same gender sexual unions. Love it or hate it, but don't mix them.

???

Weird that that's specifically what you got out of this story, but he's gay and religious, I don't think it's for you to decide what he can and can't mix.

Agreed. I could list a number of Christian denominations that accept and perform same sex marriages these days, so it's completely inaccurate to say ALL of Christianity as a whole is "definitely against same gender sexual unions."

I said the Bible is against it, NOT the entire group of people describing themselves as Christian.
