this whole issue is so tiring and upsetting on multiple levels

and there's a reason unisex bathrooms don't work, my old college campus had them and then locked them all down because there were multiple sexual assaults reported in those. so that as their alternative is laughable if they honestly give a shit about protecting women.

My dorm has unisex but also give women the option for their own bathrooms that could only be opened with a key and i don't think it made a difference either

my college had gender neutral bathrooms + showers and one all-female dorm (though male guests were allowed to use them) and I don't remember us having that issue. People were looking to expand them into public spaces on campus too but that wouldn't work in the real world.
