Ever since “Lemonade” dropped, I’ve been thinking about Beyoncé … and Hillary Clinton. The two most powerful women in the world, two halves of very powerful couples, two women who know a thing or two about infidelity.

We know Clinton’s husband cheated on her; we know Beyoncé’s father was unfaithful to her mother. We don’t know whether Jay Z cheated

Is that what 'Lemonade' is about? (I don't really do pop music...or much of any music post-1980, heh.) I've heard a lot of good things about it being a 'visual album' (so, like one long music video?). Interesting.

This makes me wonder, though, not only about powerful women and how they handle cheating/divorce/staying together, but why men who are *with* these women would cheat (or, in Bill's case, fuck up like a frat boy and have an affair while also being the *most watched human in the US*). Kind of boggles the mind.
