I heard a theory floated that he'd trying to get Hillary to agree to change something - perhaps campaign finance laws, or the superdelegate system, so he can point to it and say this election season itself was a mini-revolution. Whether or not she'll go with it (if she wins she'd need to campaign again in 4 years and would want to set herself up in the best scenario) is unclear.

He put up a good fight, and he's a good man, but he just is not going to win this. I'm pleased to see him stirring people up and making people *think*, but i really hope he continues on as an ally, and does what he can to keep the GOP from winning both the Presidential race as well as senate and congressional races.
