Wat. This is not what I was expecting, especially from Minister Wilson-Raybould :(

Aside, I grew up in Archbishop Pettipas's diocese, lol no wonder the only time I ever saw him was at my confirmation (which, like, shit job if you were supposed to confirm me as a Catholic for any length of time, lol I only went because there was a cute boy I liked) and this explains where he is all the time, up on the cover-up council.

This is TERRIBLE and leaves me thinking WTF, Liberals.

Another thing that is really irritating to me as a (former) Catholic is that whenever there is a lawsuit and the Church has to pay, they always make local parishes pay (and probably claim they have no more money as in this case once the money from the parishes runs out). Ummm, yeah. Why isn't the Vatican ever forced to pony up the difference? Fuckers.

Not appealing this is a terrible decision on the part of the government.

PS: It's incredible that the Church would get out of doing the right thing. And this must really leave a bitter taste for residential school survivors.
