Yep. Exactly. And the police here in Quebec are already terrible and can literally get away with murder, so why wouldn't they be terrible elsewhere in the world?

I've read a few opinions/comments on my LJ over the last coupe years (specifically about The Walking Dead) by people who say that 'it's so unrealistic to think that everyone just wants to rape and murder in a post-apocolyptic world'.

Well, you know what? We're not even *pre* apocalyptic, but here you go - proof's in the pudding. Seems like humans just *cannot* stop themselves from being complete wastes.
