corgis are basically napoleonic dictators in little fuzzy bodies

if you are in an unacceptable spot they will let you know. if something is out of place they will let you know. if there is a weird noise they will let you know. if there is a cat they will let the cat know where they can go and where they cannot go.

TBF I had the same dog for 15 years before this and she was my BFFFF. So this is the only time I've ever had a puppy that grew into a dog and he is not short on personality. He's a good dog but he is very stubborn in some respects.

i feel like i ask this question at least once a week either here or on the mothership but does anyone have any tips for forcing yourself to focus when you have, like, no motivation whatsoever? i've been struggling with this ever since i started my new job because having so little free time during the week has made it so that when i do have time off i can't get myself geared up to get any work done on my creative projects

white noise helps me a lot, I prefer the Star Trek engine sound because I'm a nerd. Sitting at a desk on my desktop instead being too comfy lounging on my couch/bed on the laptop. And Biofreeze for any distracting muscle aches because A) helps with aches and B) the menthol is such a strong sensation that it keeps me from getting too, idk, mellow? haha.

Rachel Maddow did a great segment on Trump's abortion statements, I would highly recommend watching it (start @ 5:05 or 14:12). I commented in detail about her segment in one related ONTD_P post, if people are interested in knowing more (or if they just don't want to watch the video lol).

"Trump accidentally speaks truth of anti-abortion politics: Rachel Maddow points out that contrary to his criticism of Donald Trump's remarks on punishing women for abortion, Ted Cruz and his close advisers hold even more extreme views, and all Donald Trump is really guilty of is saying out loud the truth about the aims of the anti-abortion movement in the United States."

Dr. Jill Stein did an interview with Radio Canada rainbows_ April 4 2016, 03:14:46 UTC
If people are interested, Dr. Jill Stein (the green party candidate in the US) just did a 30 min. radio interview with CBC Sunday. I caught the tail end of it but it seemed pretty interesting. If anyone listens to it, feel free to make a post about the highlights, could be an interesting discussion.

"With the American media focusing all its attention on who will be the presidential candidates for the Republican and the Democratic parties, it's easy to forget that there is a third party. We have not heard much about it, in the midst of what has become a political circus.

The Green Party of the United States will hold its own nominating convention in August. Members of the U.S. Green Party have been elected in state legislatures in California, Maine and Arkansas. Others hold positions at the municipal level, on school boards, city councils, and as mayors.

Dr. Jill Stein is the leader of the Green Party of the United States; she is running for President for the second time. She is a physician and a committed activist."
