Also, I agree that the gov't must know; I've been hearing things like this for a years, and I'm not even in Canada. btw, what would you recommend as the best way to follow developments on this? I read English & French, but am not very familiar with Canadian news sources & I imagine that mainstream ones might not be the ones who keep most on top of these issues?

Exactly. As someone else said, when there are as many cases as this, it isn't a few apples that are rotten but rather the barrel itself

our police is disgusting, and i hate that people say "they're not as bad as our (american) police" like wtf do you know, maybe it because they're really good a swipping shit under the rug. they do not care about these women, they only care about protecting each other (the police and the gov't)
