LIVE STREAM HERE | LIVE MAP OF RESULTS HEREHere's a warning about watching the Iowa caucuses: There's not a lot to watch and the process is mostly incomprehensible

I'm watching this stream. They said Bernie supporters don't care about politics earlier, and ALL of my Iowan friends are posting about Caucusing, informing everyone, etc. I wish they'd stop assuming millennials don't understand politics.
otherwise intelligent people showing their susceptible asses is killing me "SANDERS IS TOO RADICAL AND DOES NOTHING HIS SUPPORTERS DON'T KNOW SHIT" like really?
I submitted it right when you posted this (for the link)-- but they're probably going to wait on posting it until we're closer because------ yeah, the political posts over there were a little heavy today already (I'm still getting it in the Hill post eek)
I waiting to see who the GOP ~Establishment~ pressures to drop out so they can boost Rubio's numbers! Huckabee, Santorum, Kasich and maybe Christie will probably bow out quickly.
got MSNBC on because I love Rachel Maddow's democracy geeking
I am sitting here though, after physical therapy that left me wrapped in bandages and I can barely walk, and I'm struck by how horribly unfair the caucus process is to people with disabilities. The caucus process is interesting in how weird it is but it's so shitty for accessibility. It takes hours and privileges the able-bodied and those with the time and money to spend three hours doing some weird form of voting.
but tbh I feel like going to the polls at all is awful for disabled people. After living in Oregon for ten years where they are 100% vote-by-mail I am convinced it should be like that everywhere. It increases turnout and makes everyone a more informed voter and it's accessible to everyone.
and vote-by-mail is AMAZING! I mean not only does it boost turnout and make it more accessible for everyone (and yes, they do have ways for homeless people to get ballots, too), but man... all of my voting decisions were so INFORMED. I'd sit with my ballot and the internet for a solid hour and research every last choice/candidate. A lot of the downticket stuff is hard to choose if you're not educated and you're just there on the spot.
I live in Florida now and am not looking forward to waiting in lines in the heat to vote
