What's kind of hilarious about that is that up to and including Kristol, who discovered her and sold her to the McCain team, every name on that list was convinced that Sarah Palin was the great (white, of course) hope of the Republican party.

I am seriously digging this civil war in the GOP. I hate everyone involved in it, but it is fun to watch from the outside. I just know I'll hate whoever manages to claw their way to the top, but some shitty-ass people will get torn down.

the funny thing is most of these people aren't rational. glenn beck, erick erikson and dana loesch are examples of rational, great conservative thinkers? what a joke.

and in my experience, a lot of them have drifted away from the party. My parents were both loyal republicans when I was growing up, but have both since left the party.

I hope this means that the Republicans will fracture into their constituent parts (evangelicals, "alt-right," ultracapitalists) but mark my words, if Trump wins the nomination, National Review will be rallying behind him.
