I'd like some clarification on that, too.

He's at Reformers Unanimous (faith-based rehab facility). If it's anything like that "carpentry/house-building" programme that was supposed to cure his urges to sexually molest minors, then it's foreseeable that R.U. might also questionably allow conjugal visits (the wife was pretty candid, which suggest they didnt sneak off somewhere on or off the facilities to have low-key romps).

It also suggests this branch of the Duggar family is beyond delusional. Most rehab facilities dont provide conjugal visits for the whole "hey-is-this-enabling-behaviour-for-an-addict...SEXUAL-or-otherwise" sobriety angle.

Well, it's faith-based, so the thinking is probably 'He's a *man* and he has *manly urges* so it's okay if gets those urges out on his *wife*, because that is the only lawful and godly sex he should be having. So get her in here.'

I just shudder to think how much of it is predicated on holding Anna responsible for Josh's actions. Even to the point of spinning it as part of his "therapy." Like, "we're gonna get you in there so you can make yourself sexually available to him because you were obviously slacking off on performing your wifely duties! retch Why else would he possibly stray~"

I hate how ubiquitous that rhetoric is even outside of Fundie circles. I've been seeing it again regarding the Clintons and how if Hillary had just taken the time to suck Bill's dick, he wouldn't have been chasing after interns. -_-
