Love to OP, I was just thinking when I woke up this morning that I can't wait to get some politics going on here...
And lol, just the other day I was talking to someone about this who was like "they're trying to bleed out Puerto Rico until they agree to become a state." I was just like "uhhhh, Puerto Rico don't want us and we don't want their debt."
Also, I hope I live long enough to see Goldman Sachs go down.
This community used to be so great and active back in the day. Hopefully 2016 will help it #Rise.
On the whole, PR don't want us, it is sooo much more complicated than that. There are those who do, those who want a status similar to what we have and those who want independence. We are pretty divided when it comes down to it.
I'm sorry. I wish I had known about this before, and it may be closing the gate after the horses have run off, but I'll call my senators out on this. Without even looking, I know those bastards voted against you.
Man, stop sending us your taxes. That could help dig you guys out.... The US has such a fucked-up history of *fucking up* other countries, it's grotesque. There are so many families here in MO where i am from Puerto Rico, because most of them are in the military (we're right next to a military base).
