Racism and trigger-happy police have been so bad and so consequence free that when I read that a mistrial was declared because of a hung jury and prosecutors aren't sure if they'll try the case again all I thought was "Well, at least they charged and tried Kerrick and the jury didn't immediately acquit. That's an improvement and more justice than I thought Jonathon Ferrell would get."

MTE. How sad is it that we're happy about a mistrial? Speaks volumes to how the justice system is perceived.
