Late to the party as usual, but I'm kind of saddened by how vanilla or ordinary that list of "sex acts" is. I mean, none of those things are very surprising? Like, nothing that you would have to carefully broach with your partner (or hide from them) in case they freaked out or thought you were some kind of pervert?
And if it was for the purpose of getting sex while his wife was pregnant/recovering from pregnancy as some have suggested, then double fuck him, and their fundamentalist cult. Wife's not up to having sex because she's incubating a fetus / just pushed one out of her nether regions / is up at all hours because the baby is screaming every two hours? You have two hands and a computer. Take care of your erection yourself.
I feel so bad for his wife. Not just what he's done, but that she blames herself for it. Because that's what she's been taught. That if she was a good wife he wouldn't do that. That his wife, his sisters, and possibly other girls/women he has abused are taught that forgiving him is not a choose but an obligation. They forgive him not because they decide to, but because they are required to. Required to forgive him in a way that lets him off the hook completely and allows him to stay in their lives- taught that that is what forgiveness means (in reality is is possible to forgive without minimizing and forgive without allowing that person anymore space in your life, certainly not in such a way that they can hurt you again.)
Also, I have literally been trying for days to post that comment! Everytime I tried to submit the comment lj logged me back out of my account and then told me my IP was temporarily blocked from logging in because of too many invalid password attempts.
