A product of the climate of fear that has been whipped up by the NRA to encourage their political agenda. Silly people owning guns that they have no business, ability or judgment to use appropriately will lead to injuries and deaths.

Not that this has not been said before. It is the country we live in.

Kneejerk response--because it's Georgia. Most of the states I'm familiar with, including my own (OH) consider it to be a felony.

The statute defines it as causing death "without intending to do so," so I'm guessing they put intention above the consequence.

You would think, but apparently the parties involved didn't think it was that big of a deal.

This kind of case is what really enrages me about this country, where we refuse to put our fucking guns away for five minutes and use our brains for a change.
