And a few functioning brain cells with neurons that are capable of firing--which would be a pretty tall order for him!

To put this very simply, there is no sense in game developers or journalists focusing on “feminism” when their market is roughly 70% male (core gaming - excluding mobile and social platform gaming).
This is almost literally a boys club and while this is changing, whether we like it or not, it will happen naturally, over time, if enough women join the market.

While that change is happening though, the assault done through accusatory articles and damning rhetoric/narrative is extremely offensive to a lot of us. Not because we scoff at women, their opinions or feelings, but because we deal with this everywhere else in our lives and having that in gaming as well is inappropriate and stressful.

Quoted from that article the journalist was asked to read.

Let me point towards two things: The "whether we like it or not" that says quite clearly that he does not dislike just "radscum" (what?), but rather the fact that any women might possibly play games and not keep that fact secret ( ... )

#gurpgork associating itself with Vox Day and Return of Kings killed any pretense of credibility they had.

Dear lord. But also true: every time I've seen someone show up to defend this, the misogynistic insults start flying after a few questions. It's like they're incapable of having a discussion without calling people whores or cunts.

Lol, gamergate. You can't make vague claims of corruption in journalism and not expect journalists to investigate it.
