My work has fund raisers for Breast Cancer Awareness, after the PP Fiasco in 2012 they stopped working with Komen and are now teaming with the American Cancer Foundation.
Same here. My company raised a LOT of money for Komen, but dropped them after the controversy and now work with a different cancer charity. Since Karen Handel left, though, I thought they were dialing back on the grossness, at least. Apparently not.
Even if there's no direct link, ( and maybe it's a simple "carcinogenic drilling chemicals cause general cancers link"), the sheer idiotic concept of a PINK DRILL BIT is like the sharkjumping on pinkwashing.

Komen's absurd. There's probably thousands of better options to donate and support.
I totally agree about there being other options to donate to. I need to do more research, but right now, I think Breast Cancer Action (mentioned in the op) is looking like a pretty good possibility.

that's about the size of it. :/ after that bullshit with planned parenthood last year i'm done with them. there have to be better causes to give to.
