Of course he did this. He got away with murder once and no one else presses charges against him for anything else. That would make almost anyone feel invincible.

I think it's ridiculous that they let him walk on menacing the women. I've never had the impression that Florida law enforcement is all that concerned about making an airtight case if the defendant is someone they want in jail.

Oh, for fuck's sake. It's like watching gangrene crawl up your arm. I'm just waiting to see who the state of Florida cares enough about to arrest this hideous little thug for menacing them. The women dropped the charges? Hey, the man has a get out of murder free card.

I'm going to guess the unnamed driver is a white guy, which is why they're actually following up on this despite the fact that he too declined to press charges.
