Theres no way it will be a comfortable no vote, it will ether be a yes or so close the discussion will continue. What the fuck are those tags? Slow news day? Not for Scottish people. Let me guess, you´re English. Thanks for reducing this all down to Rupert Murdoch wanting revenge. Nothing to do with Scottish people wanting to control their own destiny. The same pol was considered fine while we were trailing 20 points behind.

Creepy uncle "Rupe" Murdoch owns the Sunday Times and has an interest in the break-up of the UK as revenge for his empire's phone-hacking embarrassment.

Wait. I'm as cynical as the next gal about Murdoch and Media monopolies. I can see an invested interest in Political Drama as any media paper would be but... do you seriously think Rupert Murdoch is behind the quest for Scottish Independence?

Honestly nobody can know for sure until after the votes are cast, but it does look like the Yes vote has momentum, which is good. I hope Scotland finally gets their independence.

Wales, Cornwall, and Ireland to follow, I hope.

Nope. I'm totally serious.

Northern Ireland would probably join the Republic of Ireland.

So, if Scotland manages to achieve independence, does this mean that England will revert to the St. George's Cross and will Scotland return to St. Andrew's Cross?

well we already use our own flags a fair bit, I'm interested to see what the Union Jack would look like since the UK would still comprise Wales and NI.

From what I've read, St. George's Cross is mostly used for football related pride.

It's seen a comeback in recent years. Particularly after the Olympics and the royal baby.

I can't help but associate it with close-minded little Englanders when I see it dangling from house or car windows, though. I always think of the EDF.
