ETA: Police have stated her injuries were the result of a fall after attempting to climb over a barrier.

A 29-year-old cosplay photographer was arrested Sunday morning at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina hotel in connection with the discovery of a bloodied and unconscious 17-year-old cosplayer in town for San Diego Comic-Con.

I can't find any news source that confirms that there was a sexual assault and an arrest but not for the girl that fell.
