Cops: Teen, 14, fatally stabs student outside NYC middle school

NEW YORK - A 14-year-old boy has been charged in the stabbing death of another 14-year-old student during a fight Wednesday afternoon outside a Bronx middle school.

Police said the victim, Timothy Crump, died after being stabbed several times in the stomach following the 3 p.m. fight Wednesday.

Seriously. I get why it's sometimes borderline with teenagers who're almost adults, but I don't understand why you would treat young kids as adults in court, no matter what they did.

I don't either. There seems to be a trend to try kids as adults more and more often, no matter how young they are, and it really bothers me.
