Good news, indeed. I wonder how many rounds of changing the language in the bill it's going to take before they get a clue that the basic premise of the bill is discriminatory.
i posted one late yesterday and i'm waiting to see it pop out of the queue unless someone beat me to it: a Virginia judge declared their gay marriage ban unconstitutional :D
So I spent yesterday shoveling sidewalks and then shoveling my neighbor's sidewalks because they are old and then an hour later shoveling the same sidewalk to get the snow out and then watching Magnum PI and then the NEXT HOUR shoveling the daggone sidewalks again
And I am so ridiculously sore
Going to play Bravely Default. I'm not a super big fan of old JRPGs but it gives me something to do
My mom is having a massive fondue party and I'm helping. She's been buying up the fondue pots at thrift stores for months now, and we're having like 12 kinds of fondue. So that'll be fun. I don't know why fondue, but it's delicious so I don't question it.
Does anyone on _p know much about health insurance claims? My insurance paid something months ago, and then yesterday I got a bill for it because my insurance decided at the end of the year that they weren't going to pay for it after all and reversed the payment. I can't figure out why, and it seems shady to me but UHC has pulled shady stuff on me before so I'm generally suspicious of them.
I can't remember all of them, but from what I can remember: a standard fontina, this spicy cheddar cheese-type dip, some sort of swiss, a pizza-type one, a couple different oils for cooking meat and veggies, a dark chocolate, and a white chocolate amaretto.
We're having four tables--one cheese fondues, one dessert fondues, one with oil, and one which I'm constantly forgetting but which might be assorted sauces not fitting in with the rest.
Making husband and I some mug cakes and watching a silly movie of some variety. We're trying hard to take advantage of these last opportunities to be making with the romance before my due date (WHICH CAN HURRY UP AND GET HERE, THANKS).
Also, Little Man was totally ready for Valentines today. He's trying very valiantly to put the moves on a downtrodden friend of ours, which has been amusing her to no end. He suggested that they should go get some pie and then maybe feed duckies because that always makes him feel better when he's sad.

Is oil fondue a really classy way of deep frying?
