It's called 'Attack on Titan'/'Shingeki no Kyojin', and omgggggggggg it is the best. There's 54 chapters in the manga version, and you can watch the 1st season on hulu. :D

i think we're safe... i don't think chris would even consider this flop when captain america/the avengers is making him so much money and making him look good.

edit: i mean obviously the artist had him in mind (oh my god) when doing the concept art but they'll probably get some look-a-like

WTF?

I'm not fond of Akira, but in terms of cinema, Japan has as many great leading characters as any other country. The reason anime continues to be a major force in the US is the strength of the stories, which require strong characters on most occasions.
