Mayor Rob Ford wants a rainbow flag raised outside of city hall in support of gay rights in Russia to be taken down and replaced by the Canadian flag

Finally he's dropping the pretense of the "family week at the cottage" crap and just went straight into admitting he's a homophobe.

Interestingly enough Mayor Lastman was the same but still attended every single Pride event because he knew its was his duty to attend. So he made the best of it and tried to have as much fun as possible.

And by hanging a Canadian flag in his office, he made people think that THAT flag was taken down and replaced by the Rainbow flag. The Rainbow flag is on a ceremonial pole separate from the Canadian and Toronto flags.

He knows exactly how to push people's buttons and bolster up his fanbase, and it's infuriating.

He acts like being asked to attend pride means we want him in pink hotpants shaking ass on a float.
