Jade Rabbit sounds a lot better than Yutu (spoken in Mandarin, that is). Idk it has a very...weird sound to it.

Also creepy with the weir anthropomorphism pseudo AI stuff going on.

Aw, sad. Also sweet. And they might as well, considering somebody will probably make a twitter for it (if they haven't already) like somebody did for that abandoned tanker that's floating around the Atlantic somewhere.

That tanker is creepy as fuck, tbh. It would be a great backdrop for yet another zombie/outbreak type movie or video game. You are the last survivor aboard a stranded ship full of rabid vermin and infected humans...

IDK, I think I must be the only one who loves the anthropomorphization. Either that or I'd reading comments entirely too literally, which is possible. I'm teary-eyed and struck by the comments from Chinese folk who have followed the rover; it sounds like there is far more of an emotional connection there we have with our own space exploratory rovers and craft. It's perhaps I'm reading too much into that one reference, but I wonder if that wouldn't help get people into various space exploration things (considering that, a lot of people I find, just don't care).
