i also get irrationally irritated when people refer to the ACA as government provided healthcare when in actuality, it's government regulated/mandated healthcare, which to me is a significant distinction. Yeah, you have expanded Medicare and Medicaid, which is where they go next on the defense, but those have been around for decades so the ACA isn't creating that process

idk i just have a lot of friends who hate the ACA and so they always are making snarky ass comments about it and i've about had it. I get they think the ACA is "only the beginning" or wtf/e but i'm just tired of the whiny BS over it.

yeah, they're friends from college, old drinking friends...now that we don't really do that anymore, we don't really hang out because some of them make snarky ass comments and it usually gets really tense

W.... wait.

So what I'm hearing is: Because Obamacare is not universal and does not take care of people who are not 'in need of health care' which does not encompass most Republican voters (in the mind of the average R. politician seemingly) which for some reason is something they pride themselves on. Whether or not that's actually true in reality.

But because it isn't Universal... its a plot to kill the other side? How hard would the republicans fought against universal care?

Don't be silly. What he's actually saying is that anything the Democrats do is a plot to kill off Republicans.
