That's what it boils down to.

Yup, an easy way to get rid of "freeloaders," conveniently forgetting that these are people who need help (government and charity) the most. It takes courage to stand in line waiting for a free meal, advertising yourself as hungry and in need.

So if it's such a burden or whatever to look at homeless people starving on the street, why don't we...I don't know, improve the system so that people aren't forced in homelessness?

They're no happier living in your bushes than you are that they're there, ffs. They aren't doing it to spite you.

Probably because that would take actual effort and cost money, so it's much easier to shove them anywhere where they can't be seen and be thus ignored by the comfortably-off.

Yeah, that lack of empathy is a stumper. I've started just asking people why they don't choose to be poor if it's so much fun.

And, yeah, what kind of self-obsession is required to think the poor are poor just to irritate you?!

Feed the homeless indoors? That can work- if they are treated with dignity and given decent shelter, not swept under the rug.

If you want the homeless to disappear and no longer offend your eyes, walk on a field of legos.

We have a neighborhood which now seems like a mental ward.”

Oh the irony.
