As much as the moon has been kinda forgotten about I am totally excited by this news!! China's been doing a lot of interesting space stuff lately (and I'm aware that some of it is making the US DoD get all ~Futurama Fry squinty eyes~) but I'm just glad someone is being active in space/ the moon.

Oh, whaaaaaaa, NASA. Sorry, but the US doesn't own the friggin' moon.

The glorious Soviet Union was there first.

I want NASA to go back and wish Americans (and our politicians including Obama) supported the space program, but the more people up there the better.
