Man. And here I was thinking they were all in total lock-step agreement on this like they seem to be on everything else.

Eastwood later said, “If somebody’s dumb enough to ask me to say something, they’re gonna have to take what they can get.”

That makes me wonder if he wasn't just punking them all along. I know he's a Republican shill, but I think it would be awesome if even he was trying to tell the world what tools and douchebags Romney and his ass-lickers are.

(And yes, I totally typed "I think it would make my day" before I realized.)

Huh, I've never heard Eastwood referred to as a Republican Shill. Republican, yes, but far more moderate than most. I assumed he was punking Romney at the time. Which does give the speech a slightly different feel. :)

same. didn't read the other comments until after i posted mine lol

but i agree. i've always thought i'd heard he was socially more moderate, if not liberalish...and probably more fiscally conservative? idk regardless, but he never struck me as Romney Conservative

Christie was punking Romney. A intro speech that never mentioned the candidate. LOL!

jesus. if you look up the definition of the republican party, that first picture will be right beside it.

i still, to this day, think he intentionally made that look like more of a mess than it originally had the potential to be. just based on a few of his comments after the fact (ie: "If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're gonna have to take what they get,").
