Agreed with shadwrayvn, Abbott is like getting Rick Perry again. He might be marginally smarter, but then a rock is smarter than Perry.

Awesome! I hope she wins, b/c Texas could really use some changes. I'm really not looking forward to the misogynistic attack ads that are going to be deployed, though.

They've already started. I've seen someone referring to her as "Abortion Barbie" on FB which makes me want to put a fist through the monitor and out of their monitor and punch them in the face.

I love Texas Tribune and (to a lesser degree) the Austin American Statesman but good grief when she held that filibuster, all these jackasses started popping up and it pretty much ruined the posts. =\
