To be fair, it would require him be impeached by the House and then convicted by the Senate. We (the US) have never convicted a President.

The biggest problem this country faces is that fools like this managed to get elected thanks to gerrymandering.Gerrymandering is part of the problem, and this district was drawn up as a safe republican district, but Bentivolio is a fluke who will likely only be around for this term because the Republican establishment never wanted him. The seat previously was held by Thad McCotter, who was forced to resign shortly before the republican primary because of a scandal. Bentivolio was the only other Republican on the ticket, and there was not enough time to for someone actually from this planet to file to run in the primary. The republican establishment did not want Bentivolio at all, and ran a more moderate republican as a write in candidate, but she didn't get enough votes. Given how republican this district is Dr. Taj, the democratic candidate, actually made it a pretty close race especially considering he was unknown to most of us before the election

Well, the Republican party will not win a presidential election again as long as they allow these people to control their party. You have to move hugely to the right to win the nomination, and that dooms you with the general pubic. It's what happened to Romney (thank goodness). Not that he wasn't an elitist windbag.

Well, it does if he gets successfully impeached. Clinton was impeached by the House but acquitted by the Senate, and Nixon resigned before he could be impeached.
