We've effectively had rain every single day and have only had maybe one day above ninetty degrees

It's kind of terrifying tbqh

Yeah, I'm in the Southeast (upstate SC) and a couple of years ago Atlanta wasn't serving tapwater except on request and we were all wringing our hands about what was going to happen to Duke's nuclear plant if the drought didn't let up.

This year, we received an entire year's worth of rainfall in less than five months. It rained every single day, and not just sprinkled but RAINED, for something like 21 days before we had a day of dryness. And that didn't even last a week.

In Minnesota, we never had a drought, but this past spring it rained or snowed for something like every day for two months. There was a huge concern that MN wouldn't be able to plant its crops because the ground was so saturated--most farmers couldn't get anything into the ground until late May/June, 1-2 months after things normally go in.

Something is wrong and I'm so pissed corporations and governments aren't falling over themselves trying to fix it. An individual can't do much, but they could do so much and aren't.

We didn't have a drought this year, but Minnesota was badly hit in last year's. It didn't rain for almost the entire summer. You know, sandwiched between the non-existant winter and before the winter-that-never-ended? And then after never-ending winter this year, we had monsoon season followed by an abnormally cool summer.

Seriously, the weather here has been completely FUBAR for over two solid years.

Yeah, no shit, Sherlocks.

So, governments: can we get some goddamn action already? Because if you keep delaying because it'll be "bad for business", pretty soon there won't be business anymore.
