I'll be devastated if he's ever revealed to be a scumbag.

I doubt he would be (though I'm sure some will try). I want him to take over for Al Franken and Bernie Sanders as the voice of truth. Someone needs to remind everyone how far right the whole apparatus has drifted.

What's wrong with Franken and Sanders? (Unless I'm misinterpreting your comment...)

Nothing; they're just getting up there, and we need a new generation of loudmouth truth tellers. (Especially after Wiener turned out to be such a bust.)

Listening to his speech right now and swooning at his commitment to stand with women and LGBT rights. this is obama 2002 speech levels of iconic right here.

I could have sworn there was a "this looks like a job for cory booker" tag, but apparently not.

And I think you mean "Christie," not Giulianni?

Can I talk about how pissed I am that the Senate election's going to be a separate election on a Wednesday three weeks before the general, where Chris Christie's gonna be on the ballot?

*home state fuck yeah*

Oops, yeah, Christie. *goes to fix that*

Of course! Christie doesn't want the competition.

As he campaigned, he portrayed what his opponents saw as a weakness - that he was insufficiently liberal on issues important to Democrats like gun control and unions - as a strength.

So, what are his actual policy positions that make this dude so awesome?

Mr. Booker shored up his early lead in the polls by spending at least $5 million to date, compared to the combined $4 million spent by his two chief rivals, Mr. Pallone and Mr. Holt

who were the largest donors to his campaign?

He's pretty thin on those things. Alex Wagner's show had a great feature this week about that.
