“Wendy Davis should reimburse the taxpayers for the entire cost," said Republican state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione

Texas’ three back-to-back special sessions may leave taxpayers on the hook for close to $2.4 million in expenses, but state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, has a plan to alleviate the cost: Make Wendy Davis pay for it.

Or maybe the fuckwads who broke procedure the first time, or Rick Perry, who called for additional special sessions to push his anti-choice agenda through, should pay for it.

So, does this mean we can bill Mitch McConnell for all the work that the Senate hasn't gotten done because he's too busy filibustering? And levy an "Obamacare Repeal Tax" on every meaningless attempt to repeal Obamacare?

Careful what you open up here, Texas Republicans. Politicians make a lot of money, and I would gleefully take it all away from them.

I say that these Republicans should pay for each court session, congress session that they tie up with their personhood antichoice bills instead of focusing on something important like the economy or the children that we already have.

But I guess it's okay to use taxpayers' money and build big government when it comes to their pet causes like pro-forced birth and anti-equal marriage.
